Grounds & Maintenance Technician – Job Vacancy
37 hours per week – Permanent Salary, LC2 (range SCP18-SCP23 with local government pension), training and uniform
We are looking to recruit a Grounds & Maintenance Technician to join our Grounds & Maintenance Team. The Team plan and carry out general maintenance on council properties, playground equipment and Town Council owned grounds all year round.
The hours of this role will be agreed with the successful postholder before appointment. The town council owns or has responsibility for the maintenance of a number of sites within the town. The role involves assisting with general grounds maintenance works such as grass mowing, strimming, watering and weeding and general property maintenance work such as plumbing, painting, building repairs etc. The post holder will need to be able to adhere to all current and future Health and Safety requirements that are required to safely carry out the role. The work is carried out in all weather conditions.
