Nominations for this years Community Awards are now live!
At the Annual Town meeting on 12th May 2026 we will present awards for:
- Young Person Award A young person who lives in Cinderford or is in school/college in Cinderford and has made a significant contribution to the residents of Cinderford through voluntary effort, achieving success or overcoming particular difficulties.
- • Community Award A resident or community group/charity, living or working in Cinderford who has made a significant contribution to the residents of Cinderford above and beyond the call of duty, achieved local success or overcome particular difficulties.
- • Business Award To be nominated by a local individual or organisation who has provided exceptional service to the local economy or local population to make a significant contribution to the local area
- • (Ceremonial) Mayor’s Special Award To be awarded at the discretion of the (Ceremonial) Mayor to a local individual (or group) who has made a significant contribution to Cinderford through their work, voluntary activities or achievements and provided exceptional service and dedication to the community
