At Tuesday’s Town Council meeting, Cinderford’s award winning Town Crier Jer Holland, was presented with a knitted replica made in his exact likeness — complete with the red coat, tricorn hat, bell, scroll, beard and other replica details.
A huge thank you to Cllr Flower for arranging the making by his Aunty Pauline (the creative talent behind this wonderful keepsake) who has captured the spirit of our special Town Crier so perfectly.
And that’s not all… 👀📺
Keep your eyes peeled on your TV screens very soon — you might just spot (or hear) a familiar Town Crier appearing soon.
Watch this space… and listen out for that voice and bell.
