/in News/by Town ClerkA vacancy has arisen for a Town Councillor representing Cinderford West Ward following the resignation of Cllr Lynn Sterry.
If you’re passionate about Cinderford and would like to help shape the future of your town, we’d love to hear from you.
No previous experience is required. The successful applicant will receive training and support needed to carry out the role.
As a councillor, you’ll be expected to attend monthly meetings (usually held on the second Tuesday of each month) at 6pm at the Town Council offices.
To apply, simply complete the application form and eligibility form (attached below) and return it by email, post, or by dropping it into the Town Council office.
Applications Close: 4th September 2026 at 5pm.
Applications will be considered by the Council at its meeting on 8th September 2026.
